Quick tips that have saved my paint brushes more times than I can count…

You are in the zone. Music on. Brush flowing. Then life calls you away for a few minutes. You come back and your paintbrush is crunchy. It happens fast. Dried paint steals softness, ruins your finish, and makes cleaning a nightmare.

Here are a few tricks to help save those bristles and tears...

1. The Pickle Jar Trick
I stick my brush into a jar with just enough water to cover about halfway up the bristles. It keeps the paint wet, but not soaking into the metal part where it can rust or loosen the glue. When you are ready to get back to painting, just use the edge of the jar or a couple of paper towels to remove any excess water before you start again.

Bonus: You don't confuse your beverage cup with your paint cup when it's a pickle jar.

2. The Press-and-Seal Pause Button
Taking a snack break? Wrap the brush (or even your little paint tray) in Press-and-Seal. Boom. It stays fresh until you are ready for round two.

3. Pour your paint out
Skip dipping straight into the can. I pour a little onto a foam tray or even a paper plate so my brush does not overload with paint.
Better coverage. Less mess. No goopy clumps.

4. Show your brush some love
When you finish painting (and before you start your projects):
Wash with our BB Frösch Brush Conditioning Soap. It is handcrafted, smells amazing, and keeps your bristles soft for the long haul.

Good tools = better projects.
Protect those brushes like the paint-transforming superheroes they are.

Mix it. Paint it. Love it.
