If you’ve ever tried painting over wax, you know the struggle is real. Paint just slides around like a toddler on a buttered-up slip ‘n slide. Instead of sanding for an eternity, I pulled a power move: I boosted my Rachel Pink paint with extra BB FRÖSCH to make it thick and grippy enough to stick to that rebellious waxed surface. Game. Set. PREPPING & PAINTING

Sanding? Not today, Satan. I went straight to mixing BB FRÖSCH into my Rachel Pink paint, giving it that perfect stick factor. The result? A dreamy, soft, vintage pink that had me swooning.

This table had curves for days but was cursed with a waxed finish. No worries—BB Frösch and a little determination fixed that real quick!

HAND-PAINTED FOLK ART DETAILS

Because extra is my middle name, I freehanded a delicate folk-art-inspired pattern in Laurel Wreath Green. Little leafy vines, just enough charm to make you look twice without screaming "Pinterest threw up on me."

CANE IT UP

The table had open panel sections, and I saw my moment. Enter: woven cane. It added texture, warmth, and just the right amount of "Oh, you fancy?" to the whole vibe. Vintage library realness achieved.

To keep this beauty looking velvety soft but still durable, I sealed the whole thing with a matte polyacrylic finish. Protection without the shine? Yes, please.
