• Can I paint laminate without sanding? Yes, but scuffing with sandpaper helps, and add a little extra powder for bonding.

The best wax

In my short chalk painting experience, I have tried several finishing waxes. I like yours the best compared to Annie Sloan clear wax, Dixie Belle's best dang wax, and Plaid's liquid wax. Yours goes on smoothly with little drag. It makes it easy to use.

Dark Wax Knocks It Out Of The Potager Garden...

Wow wow wow... this stuff is amazing. I tried it on the top of an old dresser I am painting and I sanded it then applied the dark wax to just see what it could do. I was so impressed, then I went all in and trusted it on my custom built American Cherry table top style kitchen island in my rustic farmhouse remodel. I can not sing this product's praises enough. My dilemma was that if I poly this wood it turns really (and I mean circus tent stripe red) red and the issue is that I repurposed Amish made cabinets of the same wood and they are not even remotely that red. This wax when dried, tones that down and leaves it a wonderful darkened aged color. I am so in love with it.
