Painting Fabric
Chalk painting isn’t just for furniture and cabinets! Painting fabric is one of our favorite ways to use BB Frösch Paint Transformer—curtains, pillow covers, upholstered chairs, seat covers, and more! Check out one of our favorite examples…

See below for links to details on this project and more.
• How does it hold up?" When it comes to fabric that people will be sitting on, as long as the fabric is sealed with finishing wax, GREAT! • Does it crack? Not when applied in thin coats that are allowed to fully dry between coats. • Does the paint or wax come off on your clothes? NOPE • Does it work on ourdoor fabric? YES, but we don't recommend sealing with wax for outdoor use. • How do you wash painted fabric? We don't seal painted pillow covers, curtains and rugs--just spot clean or throw those in the wash. For painted upholstery that is sealed, clean with a damp cloth.
French Settee Makeover
The bones of this piece were amazing, but the silk fabric was stained and sun-damaged. Read how we updated it all below:
Chalk-Painted Cedar Chest (Fabric Included!)
This cedar chest was originally refinished the old-fashioned way—by sanding and stripping the finish as well as recovering the fabric seat. It took forever and yielded less-than-amazing results. This time around, we saved the sanding and stripping parts and just used BB Frösch. We even painted the dated fabric seat while we were at it!
Stenciled Curtains and Pillow Covers
We did more than just paint curtains, we coordinated an entire room with BB Frösch. Read how we did it below.
Chalk Paint a Chair Using a Sprayer
When your favorite upholstered chair isn't your favorite to look at...give it a makeover with BB Frösch in a sprayer!
Customize a Rug with BB Frösch
Boring rugs are one of our favorite (and most affordable) home decor items to update with paint!
